Nuestra Voz, Nuestra Historia Workshop

In 2007, The Royal Mexican Players received a grant from UW-Milwaukee’s Roberto Hernandez Center to create Nuestra Voz, Nuestra Historia.  For six weeks, The Royal Mexican Players offered free voice and writing workshops to the Milwaukee community.  Participants were guided through various exercises to create performance pieces based on their own life story.  The pieces were then developed into a play performed at UW-M and within the Latino community at Walker's Point Center for the Arts.
